Greenhouse caf\u00e9 is a caf\u00e9 and restaurant integrated inside one of Israel’s largest plant nurseries. The caf\u00e9 was built right under one of the large greenhouse roofs that make up “Wendy’s” plant nursery, using the greenhouse’s structural elements. The metal columns were covered with wood and large glass walls were erected between them. The northern fa\u00e7ade opens up to a view of a dense garden with local plant life and a waterfall. The space between the PVC tarps and the caf\u00e9’s ceiling insulates thermally and hides the air-conditioning units. Greenhouse caf\u00e9 enjoys several different dining areas with different microclimates caused by the surrounding plants. Hidden from the street and among the plants is a tasty little “green” escape from the city.<\/p>\n
